Warren Cowan: Chief Executive Office
Warren has worked exclusively in the search marketing industry for 9 years. During this time, he has developed unrivalled search knowledge and a unique perspective on the growth and movement of the industry, both in the UK and internationally.

Warren started out at as Business Development Manager at a small e-commerce consultancy, later moving to paid search provider Espotting (Now Miva) to help with its UK launch as the first European pay per click search engine. There, he was responsible for developing both the advertiser base and syndicating Espotting to distribution partners.


Following Account Director positions at various search engine marketing firms, Warren founded Greenlight in 2001, where he currently holds the position of CEO. He takes an active role in directing and driving the company’s 50 strong team in its global growth, through sales and marketing, product development and improvement in service delivery.

Warren is a regular attendee and speaker at industry conferences and events such as E-consultancy’s SEO & SEM roundtables, and also sits on various expert panels at Search Engine Strategies Conferences and AdTech - held annually in the UK, Europe and the US. He is also well regarded as a thought leader in the field, often being asked for comment by leading trade publications such as NMA, Revolution, Media Week, and Media Post as well as mainstream news sources including the BBC, CNBC, and the Guardian Newspaper.

Andreas Pouros: Chief Operations OfficerAndreas joined Greenlight in early 2003 and has been involved in search for over eight years. Prior to Greenlight, he worked as web marketing coordinator for the British Tourist Authority, with responsibility for the search promotion of over 25 country-specific websites, and catapulted the main BTA website into the Top 20 most popular travel sites in the UK.

He went on to work for an internet start-up called eLaborate, aiding in the development of their cutting edged management system (DMS). Here he gained extensive knowledge of search engine algorithms, systems analysis, and Microsoft .NET, and contributed significantly to the indexing systems that were created.

With a BA Honours degree in International Business and an MSc in Electronic Commerce, Andreas is an expert in both business and technological principles, and now, as Greenlight’s COO and Director of its global SEO practice, he leads a large and growing team of consultants, developers and copywriters, as well as directing Greenlight’s client services and implementation teams.

Andreas also plays a pivotal role in Greenlight’s growth strategy and directly contributes to the company’s sales, business development efforts, and product strategy. Most recently, he launched SearchSentry™ - a brand protection and monitoring system for paid search marketers, and the growing Profiler division of Greenlight, which provides strategic brand reputation oriented services.

Through his extensive industry experience, Andreas is an establish search marketing commentator whose opinions have been published in NMA, Marketing, Campaign, Media Week and Revolution. Andreas also delivers Greenlight’s training programmes, working in partnership with NMA Training to provide SEO and SEM workshops for all levels.

Alicia Levy: Chief Marketing Officer
Alicia has a strong internet marketing background of over eight years, beginning originally at Insight, the UK’s largest B2B IT supplier. Here, she led the web technologies team and managed the integration of Insight’s product range into search engine marketing and shopping feed campaigns. From there she was promoted to the role of Brand Specialist on the global mergers and acquisitions team where she was responsible for helping with transitioning the marketing operations of newly acquired businesses.

Alicia joined Greenlight in April 2003 as Campaign Director, to undertake the setting up of its paid search division. Within this role, which soon developed to Managing Director of Paid Search she grew the pay per click team and business from scratch, managing suppliers, developing new business and successfully growing the size and capability of the division. During this time she also innovated and managed the development of AdApt, Greenlight’s proprietary campaign deployment tool, that uses product feeds to build out and sync search campaigns with clients’ product inventories, as well as developing Greenlight’s internal Catalyst training programmes.


Alicia handed management of the paid search division to Hannah Kimuyu in 2007, to use her marketing expertise in a new role as Greenlight’s CMO. Taking responsibility for the management of the growing marketing team, Alicia oversees the development of the Greenlight brand, its public relations and its customer acquisition and demand generation programmes.

Keith Griffiths: Chief Executive Officer
With twenty years of experience in marketing services, the last five of which were spent working directly in digital marketing, Keith joined Greenlight in September 2007 as its Finance Director managing the rapid growth of the business.

Prior to joining Greenlight, Keith was Head of Finance at Deal Group Media, an AIM listed media company, where he was responsible for its territories in the UK, Spain, Australia, India and Singapore.

Additionally, in his capacity as Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer, Keith helped to build and run a major marketing services business in the Midlands, before successfully selling it to a listed company now owned by Interpublic.

Hannah has been working in Paid Search for over seven years. As Greenlight’s PPC director, Hannah is responsible for managing and delivering the agency’s PPC offering.

Through this role she is responsible for providing client services to some of Greenlight’s largest clients, including Procter & Gamble.


Prior to Greenlight, Hannah worked with the Energy Saving Trust and Capital One on a variety of online projects including building the Capital One brand within the UK and in particular working on the “what’s in your wallet" campaign.


Hannah is an emerging thought leader within the industry and regularly provides insight and comment on paid search for trade publications such as Marketing, Media Week, Campaign, NMA & Revolution. Hannah also delivers bespoke paid search training workshops via Greenlight’s partnership with NMA Training and has delivered keynote speeches for Search Engine Strategies.
